Mission Predisan and Third Lens are proud to announce the Community Wellness Center in Wasparani, Honduras, is nearing the final stages of construction. Five U.S. mission teams have travelled to the village thus far in 2011 with more scheduled through completion. The in-country construction crew comprised of skilled tradesman and volunteers from the village continues to work ahead of schedule. The project is expected to be completed by the end of April and a grand opening celebration has been schedule for June 11th.
We are asking for your help in funding the final stages of the Community Wellness Center. The total cost of the project is roughly $60,000 for hard materials and labor costs. To date, we have raised $35,000 through the generous giving of our board, mission teams and private donations. The village of Wasparani needs your financial assistance to complete the medical facility, which will serve more than 1,100 people within this mountainous region of Southeastern Honduras.
