New Partnership: Lifewater
Atlanta, GA: Third Lens Ministries is pleased to announce its newest partnership with Lifewater International (www.lifewater.org). Lifewater is the oldest non-profit water development organization in North America. The California-based ministry is providing essential clean water, hygiene and sanitation services through their Village Water Projects in Ethiopia, Uganda and Cambodia.
Lifewater started 50 years ago, with one Christian businessman and his family feeling called to help orphans in Mexico. Today, Lifewater continues with Bill Ashe’s vision – helping vulnerable children and families thrive.
“We have been at this for 40 years, have worked in 45 countries, and have served over 2.5 million people. We are Christians who serve vulnerable communities by providing access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene,” said Sean Martin, Investor Relations Manager for Lifewater. “Getting clean water to rural villages is the most effective way to eliminate poverty and to improve health.”
Lifewater has generously agreed to provide Third Lens with their Water Access, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practice resources. WASH programs have been proven to nearly eliminate water-borne diseases. Third Lens will be able to distribute these resources amongst its partners and in the communities it operates.
“I was introduced to Lifewater several months ago and immediately saw the impact the Village Water Projects were having in developing countries,” said Brian O’Neil, Third Lens’ Executive Director. “As Americans, we take for granted access to clean water. Many of the communities Third Lens works with do not have programs implemented to prevent water-borne diseases. We see children suffering from a lack of clean water, poor sanitation, and hygiene issues. Being able to provide these resources to our partners is a God-send.”
Third Lens is changing how construction projects are built in the non-profit world. The Third Lens platform connects our network of architects, engineers, real estate and construction professionals with strategic partners and organizations in need of facilities. Construction projects present inherent operational and financial risks to the organization if not stewarded properly by trained professionals. The ministry provides comprehensive management services for the planning, design, and construction of capital building projects with a specialization in Education, Healthcare, Orphan Care, Refugees and Human Trafficking.
Third Lens Corporation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization with offices in Atlanta and Auburn.
