Third Lens combined forces with Gensler Architects as the lead architect while Pursuit Engineering and Cornerstone Engineering provided electrical and mechanical design services. Protec General Contractors did the project at a discount. Kraft Electric donated all their time to the project as the electrician, they only charged the cost of their materials. We built out the space over a 6 month period, and it now provides residence for up to 16 girls who are survivors of human trafficking. As of today, they go about the journey of being restored and redeemed while the staff is on-site with a kitchen and offices to support the process of the redemptive story.
The House of Cherith is a trauma-informed care residential recovery program providing a safe place for adult female survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation and those who have been employed in the sex entertainment industry. Their goal is to provide love and nurturing while preparing them for long-term sobriety and success. Together, we are dedicated to helping provide resources and tools for restoring the heart so life can become whole, wounds are healed, new opportunities become evident, and hope is restored.
